Mr. & Mrs Teddy Claus, WINNER, and SWEET STUFF!



Happy Monday to everyone...and Happy Halloween to everyone who celebrates the day!! And a Very Happy Birthday to my sweet friend Christina who is celebrating her special day today!!!! I hope that you all had a marvelous weekend and are moving into what will be a delightful week!!

I wanted to show you another card I made for Issue 4 of the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine. I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting, the glittery DP is from the Merry Christmas Paper Pad by Best Creation, and all background panels are machine stitched. The sweet image I used is a Meljen's Designs Mr. & Mrs. Teddy Claus from Whimsy Stamps. It was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a bit of Liquid Applique and Star Dust Stickles. I used a double flat bow made with Red Silk Ribbon to anchor a couple of Miniature Silver Ringing Bells dangling on Red Satin Ribbon all from Wild Orchid Crafts. For the horizontal I used some lovely WOC Cotton Lace. The floral treatment is all by WOC: Mulberry Paper Holly Leaves and Small Red Poinsettias which are centered with Small Moonstone Brads. You will also notice that I used a Green Fine German Glass Glitter around the image.


The inside is more of the same papers and supplies from the front of the card...and I wish the photo would show how glittery this paper pad really is!!!!

    What a great card, Jacque!

    I love the bow and the bells! That bow is gorgeous...as always. The poinsettias and lace add a wonderful touch to this card. I love the image. In a weird way Mrs. Claus reminds me a tiny bit of my dearly departed Grammy...I love her very much...but she will be the first to say that after menopause...she had a few stray hairs on her chin, too! LOL (She would think this was funny to write, don't worry!) Anyway, I love the big circle on the inside! Is that a die cut, or does it come precut...I love when you use them!     In above card Mr. & Mrs teddy is looking so nice. I impressed by that. love the little bells on it with the big bow. I appreciate your work.
