Wishing you a Special Day at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge



Happy Friday Everyone!!! I hope you are ending a marvelous week and are looking forward to a spectacular weekend! I don't know about you but I am so happy this week is almost over!!

Today starts a new week at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge where we are being hosted by the very talented Jan who set this weeks challenge as HOLIDAY FUN! This can be any type of holiday and there is a wonderful prize available from Jacobi.nl. So come on over and show us some holiday spirit!! We would love to see your wonderful creations!!

For my card I used Bazzill for the base and all matting, the DP is from the Vintage Rose Paper Pack by Craftworkcards, and all background panels were machine stitched. I used coordinating papers and tiny button brads to make the pennant banner with a SU punch which was a birthday gift from my talented friend, Claudia...thank you so much Sweetie!! The darling little Lying Tilda was stamped on XPress It and colored with Copics, adding a bit of Star Dust Stickles for the lace on her shirt. This little girlie is from Magnolia-licious and although she is not available at the moment, the MINI version is in stock. She was actually stamped out twice and on the first one she was cut out using the "out of the Nestie" technique..the second image was cut out completely and propped up for more dimension. The little round sentiment is from the LOTV Calendars Set. The rest of the products are all from Wild Orchid Crafts: 25mm Open Rose, Hip Rosebuds, and Vintage Seam Binding Ribbon.


The inside is very simple...I used a SB label with computer generated sentiment and double bows on the first panel and a triple nestie with bow for the jotting panel.

    Please forgive me. I so wanted to make sure that I congratulated Lisbeth, that I forgot to tell you how wonderful your card is!! I love the colors, and the pennant is great...super gift from your friend...I love this image...she could be on the grass looking at a lady bug! LOL (But, not in THIS heat!) Very cute indeed...I love that position, so many ideas. And, the flowers are so beautiful as usual. They are amazing! The inside of the card is precious...I love the "more" simple layouts for the inside...more room to comment, and for the recipient to focus on the message...(which is important, too!) SHOCKER! LOL! Thank you for starting off my weekend so nicely. Have a wonderful weekend, try to stay cool, and enjoy!
