OH, HAPPY DAY!!!!!!! And a Happy Wednesday to each of you and especially to me!!!! I found out late on Tuesday that the nodules in my chest are all benign and that the breast cancer did NOT metastasize into my chest so I have so much to be thankful for!!! These lungs can breathe a little more freely now!!! And I can't express my tremendous appreciation enough to each of you who kept me in your thoughts and prayers!! Thank you all so much for being there!! Even my oncologist and PA were pleasantly SHOCKED to find out the good news!!! And I am turning cartwheels (just in my mind's eye of course...hahahahhahahaha) over the news!!!!! Some of you have suggested a new picture of me and I guess the time is soon, since I will not be losing my hair again any time soon!!!!! WooooHooooooo!!!!!
I am the first to admit that my crafting motivation has been on the thin side over these past couple of weeks...BUT....I am ready to rock and roll NOW!!!! So bear with me and you will start seeing more cards soon!!! But for now....
Let's CELEBRATE with some SWEET STUFF!!!!!! Gosh I am so excited and thankful I can hardly contain myself!!!! ReplyDeleteI have had to seriously badger with harshness a dear friend of mine into going for a mammogram after her 21 year old son who cares for her told me she has a lump. She has refused to go for five weeks now, then last weekend I decided to tell her your story, she finally went to see her doctor who made an emergency appointment for Friday. Now I will be praying here results are as good as yours.

I thank you for such a possibility to! In my chest is too puhlynky 1.5 and 1 cm in diameter, I recommend getting pregnant and now I have a second daughter whom they called Alinkoyu 1 month, and still in my 23 years on September 7, so I hope that luck I did not pass, and they so want to skid out of my girls, someone has sent at least vidkrytku. Fantastic news Jacque!!! I am over the moon for you! My sister was due for her first mammogram 3 years ago and wasn't going to go as she didn't think it could happen to her. I managed to talk her into attending thank goodness as they found she had breast cancer. She is one of the lucky ones as she was caught very quickly. Jacque am very happy for you. You are an example of resilience and that we should not give up our dreams and always struggle. I am going through a difficult time, I was pregnant with two girls and they were born premature and did not resist and left us. I'm looking for strength to continue but still can not get even a card. ReplyDeleteI did not know my computer could scroll down this far!!!! I should have known that this is way you would party. I can't imagine how you must have felt sweet lady. A week ago today you had your PET scan and then the wait began. It is such wonderful news Jacque. I am just one of many who benefit from your inspiration, not only from the spectacular cards you make, but from watching you go down this path so courageously. I still would not want to take Spanish from you but that is another story!!!! Now I think we should play Hail to the Chief!!!!!!

That is SUCH great news!!!! I regularly go for a mammogram every year....for a while it was every 6 months because I have a mass, but they have determined it must be a fatty mass and NOT Cancer. Thank goodness! As someone who has Cancer running in her family, I'm pretty vigilant about going in for all the routine tests. I am just so glad things are looking brighter with your health! WooHoo!!!!

Oh how I would LOVE to win this AMAZINGLY generous prize package! Last year a friend gave me some boxes of craft supplies that she wasn't going to use, and one of the boxes contained all sorts of Zutter products - but no binder to make use of any of it, so it's been sitting in my closet.
