Whimsy Stamps Blog Hop and SWEET STUFF!!!

Hello and welcome to the Whimsy Stamps April new rubber release BLOG HOP!

There are 13 fabulous new Whimsy Stamps plus 2 new wonderful dies to show you today! The hop starts today (Wednesday April 13th at noon EST) and ends on Wednesday April 20th at noon EST.


For my blog hop creation I used Little Fairy Friend by Meljen's Designs flying over the ladybug trail...but GOSH, she has already caught one!!!! She was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics, adding Prisma Glitter to her wings and swirls and a bit of Glossy Accents to the little ladybug she is holding. The base of the card is Bazzill, all matting is PTI, and the DP is MM Gingham (Thanks, Suzan!!!) and Victorian Romance "Blues" by Creamotion. For the horizontals I used double faced satin ribbon tied into double flat bows. The floral treatment is from Wild Orchid Crafts: Poppy Stem Flowers and Aster Daisies. The ladybugs on the trail are buttons.


The inside is very simple with more of the same from the front--papers, ribbons, bows, ladybugs. On the first panel I dangled the cutest little ladybug charm---and it's a BLUE ladybug...matches the DP but I don't think ladybugs come in BLUE...lolol On the second panel I used one of the new Everyday Mini Postage Stamps cut out with the Mini Postage Die, both from Raindrop Echo Designs. I have included a set of the postage stamps in my SWEET STUFF below...smiles!!!
