Bunny Tilda Wishes you a Happy Holiday at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge



Happy Good Friday and hopefully you are having a marvelous week!! And a very happy holiday to you and yours if you are celebrating this weekend! It is rainy here today BUT there are projections for a delightfully warm, sunny weekend!! Yippppeeeee! My wise grandmother always said, "no planting flowers til after Mom's Day (USA)", but I just can't wait that long!! I already have loads of flowers and herbs just waiting to be thrown in the ground and in pots...lol...Of course EVERY year I have to re-plant because I didn't listen!!!

This week at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we are hosted by the magnificently talented Dena who has designed a very fun sketch for us! We are being sponsored by All The Scraps and they have provided a very nice prize for some lucky winner!! So come on over and play along with us using the fabulous sketch!

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and matting. The DP is MM Pink Gingham, and a Vintage Easter paper. The background panels are machine stitched and you will notice that this time I only used single matting which is a very different look for me! For the square element behind the image I used a white doily placemat and cut it down to fit the image. Bunny Tilda from Magnolia-licious was stamped on Cryogen White, colored with Copics, and cut out with double Nesties. I used PTI Blush Pink satin ribbon for the horizontal to anchor the tiny floral/pearl swirl from Recollections.



For the inside I dangled a cute Easter charm from the bow on the first panel. On the jotting panel I simply made a lace trimmed pocket for the matching bunny tag which also uses a bit of lace and a pink gingham button tied with pink/white baker's twine.

    Hello Jacque, OH!!! this is soooo beautiful, pink being my favourite color, you won my heart. Love this lovely, precious and delicate layout, the nice pearl swirl and cute Tilda. the inside is just aswonderful, love the pocket idea!
    In French we have a saying: En avril, ne te découvre pas d'un fil! which means in April, don't take any layer off... IT is particularly true for this April, as I still go around with my winter coat.
