Whimsy Stamps Blog Hop with SWEET STUFF!!!!!

Hello and welcome to the Whimsy Stamps March new rubber release BLOG HOP!

The hop starts today (Wednesday March 16th at noon EST) and ends on Wednesday March 23rd at noon EST.

For this hop we have 6 different prize draws! We have not one but TWO grand prize draws, so two lucky hoppers will win a large selection of new release stamps. Also, we have 4 mini candy stops throughout the hop where you can enter to win a new release stamp! I'm not going to tell you where they are, so if you haven't found them you'll just have go back to the beginning and start hopping! *wink* AND, I have a little SWEET STUFF for you here below!! That makes a bunch of candy for this hop!!!!

For my blog hop creation I used a Meljen's Design "Rainy Day Duckling" (which is also in my SWEET STUFF below):



I used Bazzill for the base, PTI for all matting and the DP is all from the October Afternoon Ducks in a Row Paper Pad. All of the background panels are machine stitched. The little duckling was stamped on XPress It Blending Card, colored with Copics, adding Glossy Accents for the rain. You can see that I stamped the umbrella twice so that it could be propped up for more dimension. It was first coated with Matte Accents and then I gave it highlights with Glossy Accents. For the vertical I used a dotted ribbon from PTI, adding a little yellow duckie button for a little WHIMSY!!! smiles!!!!



The inside is quite simple--on the first panel is just a double flat bow and on the second panel I used the wonderful, new "Double Scallop Border Die" and ribbon to hold the litte duckie journaling card with double flat bow. Of course I had to add some raindrops and splashes to this little duckie...lol
