SWEET STUFF and Tilda in Tulip Heaven at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge and WINNER!!!!

Hello, everyone and a very happy Saturday to each of you!!! I hope you are all well into a magnificent weekend!!

At the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge, the theme for our Special Monthly Challenge is "Anything Goes". But this month you have the option of adding GLITTER to your creation. You can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice and as long as the main image on your creation is a hÄnglar & stÄnglar or Magnolia stamp you will qualify to be in the draw for the fabulous prize which this week is from Simon Says Stamp! And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please. The challenge closes next Thursday, March 10.

For my DT Sample Card I decided to make a scene card which I have not done in a very long time. The base and all matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the La-Di-Da Paper Pad by Kaisercraft and all panels were machine stitched. I used the cute Tilda with Armful of Tulips from the new Butterfly Dreams Collection at Magnolia-licious and masked her so that she would be strolling down the Tulip Walkway from the same collection. This Tilda seems a bit large to me so she worked quite well in making a scene. The images were stamped on XPress Blending Card and colored with Copics, adding Prisma glitter to all of the tulips. For the foreground I used the Doohickey Fence (which doesn't appear to be available over at Magnolia-licious right now) to show the small purple and red mulberry tulips. I have no earthly idea where I bought those tulips so if anyone knows, please put a note in my CBOX for others to know as well...thanks!! To finish the front I used a small red twill flat bow.


I wanted a bit more dimension and texture on the inside of the card so on the first panel I used the same red twill, this time around the corners so that the cute cute paper could be enjoyed! And on the second panel I used mulberry blooms to cover the flowers on the DP as well as added another Doohickey fence with grass and small purple flowers. The open space will be the jotting panel. What do you think?
