Tilda under the Mistletoe at Just Magnolia

Happy Saturday everyone!! I hope that all of you are well and not too stressed out over all of the events, responsibilities, and weather of the season!!!! I know for me it has been wonderful to get out of the house for a day or so...or at least until the next ice arrives!!!! EEEEEKKKKKK!!!!

This week at the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog we are treated to a wonderful and fun sketch by the very talented Mina which I think you will enjoy also. Please note that this challenge will run for 2 weeks, so our next challenge will be on 31st December and will be our Special Monthly Challenge – Anything Goes. I hope you will join with us this week so we can see your interpretation of Mina's lovely sketch!!!

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and all matting and the DP is from Kars Christmas Collection Paper Pad. All major panels were machine stitched and the red panel was crimped before matting. Little Tilda Under the Mistletoe from Magnolia-licious was stamped on Cryogen White, colored with Copics, and cut out with Nesties. On the mistletoe I added Diamond Stickles for the berries. The cookies in her pocket were topped with Glossy Accents and I added tiny gold beads for the buttons on her shoes. For the horizontal I used a red stitched grosgrain ribbon and topped it with an olive satin ribbon, adding a bow with wreath charm dangle. For the floral treatment I used Small White Poinsettias from Wild Orchid Crafts resting on MS punched branches.
The inside is very simple with the same ribbon treatment and a snowman charm and Nestie jotting spot!

Thank you so much for dropping by today and I am hoping that you will want to return often! I wanted to remind all of you about the Sunday Giveaway which we call SUNDAY SENSATIONS from Magnolia-licious which will be up right after midnight on Sunday morning. The giveaway will be up until Tuesday at midnight when the week's winner is announced! So please drop by here and say hello to the little Blue Frog!!! Until the next time, be safe, stay unstressed, and enjoy your weekend...Big hugs!!!

  2. Such a lovely little Tilda. Jacque you always seem to have such lovely charms to go with your images. Great that you could at least get out again. We have been watching all the northern hemisphere weather on the news. Thinking of all our family and friends in the icy wintry conditions, in the UK and Netherlands and also USA. Sending everyone warm sunny wishes.

  12. You just can't beat the traditional Christmas colors - Tilda looks pretty darn good. Now Jacque, I watched you make a bow with the bow easy - quick, zip, pop and you were done -I tried your technique - taking the scissors and poking the ribbon through the opening - and I darn near poked a hole in my hand. I think I need to take another class!! Beautiful card Jacque, inside and out - Merry Christmas!
