Happy Monday to everyone and I wish for you the very best of all weeks!! More rain here but after all it's not snow so all is well and I am hoping for more sunshine this week! Probably my wish will be for much more sunshine and HEAT than we want!! hahahah
Today is the very first day of this fortnight's new challenge at Wild Orchid Challenge where you know there is a marvelous prize from the Wild Orchid Crafts each time for some lucky participant so we hope you will come over and play along with us where the challenge this time is BLUE and/or PURPLE!!!
I decided to use navy/dark royal blue since these are colors I don't often use....and here is my card for this challenge....
For the base and all double matting I used Bazzill and the DP is all from the Authentique Genuine Collection. The darling image is Li'l Tag A-Longs L'il Bells from the Little Cottage Cuties Collection by the quintessentially talented Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps. The image was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Promarkers. I used wide grosgrain stitched ribbon topped with some Gingham Ribbon tied into a double flat bow, adding a thread spool button to the top of the bow. All of the other embellies are from Wild Orchid Crafts: Open Roses, Cosmos Daisies, Hip Rosebuds, Self-Adhesive Pearls, and Decorative Metal Corners.
The inside of my card is very simple using the same DPs, ribbons, pearls that I used on the front of the card, allowing a nice spot for jotting.
I just happen to have an extra L'il Bells to send to one of my commenters along with some wee treats. So if you are interested in being considered for the SWEET STUFF, just leave a comment and Mr Random.org will make his selection on Thursday.
Thank you so much for coming by...and I hope you will want to visit me often to see what's happening in my world...Until the next time I send big hugs to each of you!!!
