Today is the first day of the new challenge at Wild Orchid Challenge and the theme this time is PURPLE and GREEN!! I don't use purple often so this was a real challenge for me also but a fun one, I might add!!!! I hope you will all come over and join in with us because you know that there will be a wonderful surprise for some lucky participant....and what could be more wonderful than a surprise from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop!!!!
For my card I used Bazzill for the base and for the double matting and the DP is from Maja Design. The darling image is a Bildmalarna which was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a bit of Pearl Pen and Prisma Glitter to the centers of the flowers. ALL of the embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts. For the side verticals I used a Scalloped Lace topped with Organza Rose Trim. For the floral treatment I used a Curly Wild Rose, Carnations, Open Roses, Hip Rosebuds, and Heather.

This card is gorgeous! I am in the "spring" mood too, I bought tomato plants and flowers yesterday hoping to get them set out today since we are having 76 and up degrees for the next few days until rain again Thursday. I miss your more frequent posts but when you get in your creative mode your creations are gorgeous!

What a beautiful card! I love purple and greens and yellows together...they are our wedding colors. I love the rosettes going down the sides. You colored this darling girl beautifully! The flowers from WOC looks so real, so life like!
