Happy Monday to everyone! I hope this will be a magnificent week for all of you! I am still working diligently over at the cottage house and moving in more crafting STUFF!!!! But surely soon it will be all ready to show you the inside!
Today over at Wild Orchid Challenge we are playing BINGO and we would love to see you come over and play along with us. As always there is a marvelous prize from the wonderful people at the Wild Orchids Crafts shop and I know you would love to be in for this prize!!!!
For my card today I used a precious image from the latest release at Stampavie by Sarah Kay called Writing to Grandma. She was colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The base and all double matting is Bazzill, the DP is from the Kaisercraft These Days Paper Pad, and all panels are machine stitched. You will see that I curled the scrip panel to match the curled letter that she is writing...smile!! For the vertical I used some lovely Natural Cotton Lace with a double flat Bow made with the luxurious Ivory Silk Ribbon. The floral treatment is all from Wild Orchid Crafts: Trellis Rose, Wild Roses, Tulips, Aster Daisies, all resting on Rose Leaves. To finish the front I used Self-Adhesive Pearls to soften the corners.

For the inside I added more lace and a gold heart button to the MF kraft envelope which could hold a gift card. And on the jotting panel, more lace, silk bow, and pearls.
I hope you like my little creation and will decide to join in with us over at the Wild Orchid Challenge this fortnight

For those of you have asked, I wanted to give you a little peek at the Cottage House that I am working on so diligently...built in the 20's it is going to be so much fun to do most of my crafting over there and get all of the paper and STUFF out of my own house...hahahah...I will show you the inside a little later...wink!!

Stunning card Jacque and your cottage looks gorgeous, can I please come and stay x
Oh, what a lovely card! I love this image and the colors you chose. So soft and feminine. I love how the paper with writing is peeled back a bit. And the lace is wonderful with that big bow! Of course the perfectly matched flowers are stunning. I love the peach pearls, and the stitching on this card seems to add to the Vintage style. I know you sew on all of them, but it seems to be a planned part on this card! I love this, Jacque!
And, congratulations to the new 3 big winners.

OOPS! I don't know how I didn't mention the photo of your cottage! I have been waiting so long to see it, and can't wait to see the insides and how you organize everything. I am particularly curiuos how you organize the flowers...by style, size, color? I only have about 10 packs, and dont know what to put them in to keep their shape, and the best way to organize.
I digress, sorry. This is so adorable! I love the stone chimney! And, the shape of the house is beautiful! I particularly love the large front window. This is a lovely 1920's home! May God bless all of your endeavors there!

Really gorgeous card, I love the colours and the bow and flowers look stunning

Jacque -- I really want to know how you make your bows so beautiful! i recently made a card with a 1" wide sheer white ribbon...and no matter what I did it just wouldn't turn out pretty! I know you have like years of experience tying off the ribbons (compared to me), but how do you get the center so thin??? It's easy when the ribbons are say 1/2" or less in width but when you have 1" or even 2" wide ribbon -- what do you do to make the center not be wide when you bring the ribbon across from the back??? if you could give me a few pointers, i'd really appreciate it. :)
hugs, divinity
