Wild Orchid Challenge AND I Brake for Stamps SWEET STUFF!!!

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you have all had a marvelous weekend and are settling into a great week! I feel that I should share this little tidbit with you since you shared in my happiness last week when I was told that I was free for 6 months but "give blood on your way out"....sigh!! Well the complete thrill was short-lived. The PA called on Tuesday to tell me that the cancer marker was back up to a 13 from a 10...and it should be a 4...I don't think my body knows math well!!! hahhaha...so several scans and tests later in the week showed some nodules in my chest (could it be rhinestones and pearls??? LOL) sooooo this Thursday it is back to the hospital for a PET test...Surely that means a day of pampering!!!!...lolol...ya think??? So keep those fingies and toesies all crossed for me this week!!! Big hugs to all of you!!!! But onward to some FUNNER stuff!!!!

This fortnight at Wild Orchid Challenge we are treated to a really great sketch by the very talented Dena and it was so much fun to play with. As always, there is a marvelous prize for the lucky winner so come on over and join in with us!! We would love to see your interpretation of Dena's fabulous sketch!!

For my card I used Bazzill for the base and for the double matting, the DP is from the DWELL paper pad by MME, and all background panels are machine stitched. The darling image is Emily-Puppy Love from the Miss Rachel and Emily Collection at I Brake for Stamps. The image was stamped on XPress It and colored with Copics, adding Glossy Accents to the little heart, and WOC Pearls for buttons and the corners of the image panel. The round yellow doily is cut with a MFT High Tea Party Doily Die. For the horizontal I used some gorgeous 25mm (1") Organza Ribbon tied into a double flat bow to dangle a THANK YOU charm. For the left corner I used a lovely small Silver Filigree Corner. And now for the floral treatment...all of my FOLLOWERS know that I am absolutely in love with Wild Orchid Crafts products and it is a real pleasure for me to let my American readers know that all of the flowers in this flower garden are also available at I Brake for Stamps in the US!!!! I know that many of you are hesitant to order from outside the US so this is now a golden opportunity to get the same lovely flowers without ordering from abroad! I have used a 35mm Trellis Rose, 15mm Open Roses, 10mm Open Roses, Gypsophilia Flowers, Aster Daisies, all available at I Brake for Stamps.

The inside is very simple this time because I just love these MME papers and wanted as much of them to show as possible...Just a little organza ribbon and bow on the first panel and on the jotting panel a faint image of the stamp so that the thank you message can be written over it.
