Wild Orchid Challenge
Happy Monday everyone!! Well the weekend is over and I hope yours was as delightful as mine was! Although it was rainy all weekend I didn't have to shovel it!!! Best wishes to you for a a magnificent day and a very good week!
Today begins the next challenge at Wild Orchid Challenge where there is a magnificent sketch by the inimitable Bev of All The Things I Love.
You don’t have to use Wild Orchid Crafts products to enter, but if you do that would be wonderful. You can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice and as long as you follow the sketch for this challenge and you link back to Wild Orchid Challenge blog you will qualify to be in the draw for the fabulous prize given by Wild Orchid Crafts and IT IS UNBELIEVABLY LOVELY!!!!! NO back linking, new projects/cards only please. The cut-off time is Sunday, April 10 at 8PM UK time. So come on over and have a peek at the lovely DT samples and join in with us!! We would love to have you!!
For my card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting. The DP is from the K&Co Sweet Nectar Paper Pad and all background panels were machine stitched. I used the darling little Toadstool for Two from the latest release at LOTV. Aren't those the cutest bunnies ever?!?! The image was stamped on XPress It Blending Card, colored with Copics, adding a bit of Doodlebug Fluff on the cottontails, and cut out with double Nesties. For the horizontal I used a lovely Red Guipure Lace from WOC and a Ruby Red Double-faced Satin tied into a double flat bow and holding a couple of Pins from WOC. The floral treatment, resting on MS punched branches, is all from Wild Orchid Crafts: 35mm Trellis Rose, Cherry Blossom Stem Flowers, and Aster Daisies. The small computer-generated sentiment was cut out with a JustRite Spellbinder. Finally, I added Pearls to soften all of the corners.
I used all of the same papers, ribbon, pins, and lace on the inside of my card, adding a little bunny charm and a fold out envelope for the jotting spot.
I hope you like my little creation and will decide to join with us over at Wild Orchid Challenge this time!!!!
Thank you so much for coming by and I hope you will visit me often!!! Please remember to email me or write in the CBox if you have questions because often there is no way to respond to your questions through your comment. Also remember there is a bit of SWEET STUFF and SUNDAY SENSATIONS from Magnolia-licious on my sidebar...so just click on them to throw your name in for the prizes! I hope you all have a beautiful week and until the next time I send big hugs your way!!!
