Tilda With Butterflies at Wild Orchid Challenge
Wishing a very happy Monday to all of you and hoping you had a marvelous weekend!! Just think...only 5 more days til the next one!! Our weekend was absolutely lovely so there was a little bit of outside work and play, too!!
Today is the new challenge at Wild Orchid Challenge and for this two weeks it's DIE-ing to PUNCH It Out!!!!!!! How exciting is that?!?! So please grab those punches and/or dies and join in with us. And as usual there is a marvelous prize provided by Wild Orchid Crafts...and before you even have a peek at the prize this time, I'm sure you all know that this shop has the most gorgeous flowers and other embellishments in all of Webland!!! They ship so quickly AND their customer service is magnificently amazing!
For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is PTI, and the DP is from the K&Co Sweet Nectar Paper Pad. All background panels are machine stitched. As a part of the background I used a Waltzing Matilda die by Cheery Lynn to cut the lace doily. On the horizontal I used PTI ribbon to make 3 knots to add some texture. In addition I also used some MS butterfly punches which I beaded with WOC Rhinestones and glittered to emphasize the theme of the image. This sweet little Tilda With Hawaii Flower is from the Butterfly Dreams Collection at Magnolia-licious and although she is not available right now, she is on her way back very soon. She was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics, adding stickles to her lace and Prisma glitter to the butterflies. The floral treatment is resting on several fronds punched out with a Leone Em Pty Ltd punch, a marvelous gift from the wonderfully talented Christina...Thank you so much, Sweetie! The flowers are all by Wild Orchid Crafts: 25mm Open Roses , 20mm Open Roses, Aster Daisies, and 5mm Closed Rosebuds.
For the first panel of the inside I used another Waltzing Matilda Lace Doily with a double flat bow as well as another MS butterfly. For the jotting panel I merely used a double flat bow with a silver butterfly dangle.
I hope you like my little creation and will decide to join us over at the Wild Orchid Challenge this time. I would love for you to drop on over and have a look at the absolutely gorgeous creations which the DT has made for this challenge!
Thank you so much for dropping by!! It is always such a joy to see you here! On Tuesday I will be showing you a sneak peek from the March Release at Whimsy Stamps and on Wednesday, I will be participating in the Whimsy Blog Hop so I hope you will drop by to see what surprises I will have for you both days...smile!!!!So until we "see" each other again, I send a big hug your way!!!
