What's Cooking at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge
Happy Saturday everyone!! I hope you have finished a marvelous week and are into a fantastic weekend. It will surely be a sunny one here and I can't wait to get outside a bit!!! I intend to soak up so much Vitamin D that the doctors will wonder where I got it all...lol
This week at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we have a lovely sketch provided by the sweet and talented Mina. You can flip and rotate the sketch, as long as we can still see the elements of the sketch. You can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice. As long as the main image on your creation is a Magnolia or a hÄnglar & stÄnglar stamp you will qualify to be in the draw for the fab prize. The magnificent prize this week is from Wild Orchid Crafts and is unbelievable!!!! And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please. The challenge will run till Thursday, February 17.
For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting, and the DP is from Kitschy Kitchen by Melissa Frances which I just love!! I was fortunate enough to get 2 of these pads as a part of my Christmas---one from the very talented Suzan and one from the darling little sons of Claudia! Thank you so much, SWEETIES!!!! All panels were machine stitched. The darling H&S image was a gift from the exceptionally creative Gunilla and I think this little chefette is just such a cutie!!! She was stamped on XPress It Blending Card and colored with Copics, adding a bit of Stempelglede around the edge of the Nestie panel. For the horizonal I used 1.5" Natural Jute Ribbon topped with 3/8" Totally Twill Red . I also used a small primitive heart tied with a bit of twine on the double flat bow. The upper right envelope and tag is also by Melissa Frances and is stamped with a simple "HI" on the inside, adding a pull of Gingham Red Micro checks. On the right bottom is a larger tied heart and a couple of squiggle doo-dads...lol...What chef would be without her utensils??? So in the upper left I used a Karen Foster Loopy Bradline to hang a tiny spoon/knife/fork!!! Kinda fun and whimsical, huh?!?!
The inside is just more of the same with the addition of a much larger MF tag in envelope to be used as the jotting spot!
I hope you like my little card and will decide to join in with us over at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge. We would love for you to drop by for a visit to see the absolutely lovely DT Sample Cards this week!
Thank you so much for coming by today and hope you will want to come back often! Remember tomorrow is the SUNDAY SENSATIONS from Magnolia-licious which is a fun giveaway each week for some lucky visitor! Tomorrow I will also be participating in the RRR Blog Hop and will have some RRR SWEET STUFF for someone!! The first of the week will be the other PINK SWEET STUFF!! Gosh!! This chef must be cooking up a bunch of CANDY!!! hahaha... Have a marvelous Saturday and a fun-filled weekend! Big hugs coming your way!!!
